WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi believes it’s time for something new in the ongoing Bloodline storyline, calling for a unique twist to keep fans engaged.
Speaking on his Off The Top podcast, Rikishi suggested that WWE should create a one-of-a-kind event or match for the Bloodline. Reflecting on the recent developments at WWE Crown Jewel, where Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga defeated Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso, Rikishi expressed surprise at the outcome.
No, I had no idea. I didn’t think either team was gonna win. I would have probably thought it would have been a DQ.
He admitted, acknowledging the storyline’s complexity and potential longevity.
For me, that angle is so beyond that you can get away with going two-three years with that angle added on to what they’ve already done.
Rikishi envisions a big finale that would match the storyline’s intensity.
I don’t ever see a finish until it’s some type of big gimmick match like a Hell in a Cell, maybe three cages, three rings—like give them something that people have never, ever seen before. That’s what the Bloodline is…they’re giving the wrestling fans something that they’ve never seen amongst each other, and the fans are invested.
Pushing the idea further, Rikishi proposed a signature premium live event dedicated to the Bloodline storyline, featuring a custom-built match format.
Why don’t we call a different type of…pay-per-view name for the Bloodline to have their own type of signature match? Let’s put three rings together. Let’s build a certain type of dome for three rings…there’s so much that those boys can do with a gimmick type of match like that.
Which Potential New Bloodline Member Reportedly Signed With WWE Recently?
A new potential Bloodline member has reportedly signed with WWE with Lance Anoa’I apparently joining NXT and has been spotted training at the Performance Center. Currently, it is unknown whether Lance will be staying in NXT or if he will be joining the Bloodline storyline on the main roster.
