Monday Night Raw featured another QR code appearing momentarily on-screen, this time teasing the debut of a current NXT Superstar!
WWE’s White Rabbit teases have been the talk of wrestling discourse over the past few weeks, with fans taking to social media to divulge every ounce of information that trickles through. This was precisely the case during the latest broadcast of Monday Night Raw.
A backstage segment between Bianca Belair, Candice LeRae, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss saw another QR code pop up on-screen, leading viewers to another mysterious link. When decoding the binary code, it spells GACY – the surname of NXT star Joe Gacy.
It’s important to put across that this does NOT confirm Joe Gacy will be the mysterious figure unveiled. WWE may be attempting to throw viewers off ahead of the presumed unveiling at Extreme Rules on 8 October, where Bray Wyatt is heavily expected to be revealed as the mastermind.
Joe Gacy joined WWE in August 2020, officially debuting the following July. He’s currently aligned with Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid in The Schism, with the former Grizzled Young Veterans unveiled as Gacy’s druids on the 19 July NXT 2.0.
Out of Character’s Ryan Satin posted a detailed breakdown of the QR code teases to Twitter. The code initially sent viewers to a different painting, depending on whether it was opened on mobile or desktop with a magic eye that, as Satin pointed out, contained the SKU code for White Rabbit milk. When decoded, it reads 10822 – the date for WWE Extreme Rules.
Meanwhile, Fightful’s Robert DeFelice pointed out that the numbers on the page, 7517202, form part of the coordinates for Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center – the host venue for the 8 October premium live event.
