Planned Date For WWE’s White Rabbit Reveal

White Rabbit Raw Tease

With White Rabbit teases having been ongoing now for a few weeks, the planned reveal for the character has now been unveiled.

Speculation has been running rampant over WWE programming for the past few weeks surrounding a mysterious White Rabbit figure. QR codes have been placed in the background of shots, 9.23 has been a key number involved, and the namesake Jefferson Airplane song has been played during commercial breaks and untelevised live events.

This may not be going on for much longer, though, as Fightful Select is reporting the plan is for the mastermind to be revealed on 8 October at WWE’s Extreme Rules premium live event. The report notes that the person portraying the character may not actually physically be in attendance.

Unsurprisingly, the report also indicates that the plan is to see Bray Wyatt revealed to be behind the mystery.

Wyatt has been absent from WWE since the post-WrestleMania 37 Raw, making his last appearance for the company in his Firefly Fun House persona. He’d wrestled as The Fiend the night before at ‘Mania itself, losing to Randy Orton in what has been his last match for a year and a half.

Rumours of him coming back to WWE have drastically picked up since Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque took over the creative direction of the company. Wyatt and Vince McMahon infamously didn’t get along towards the end of his last run, with the ex-WWE Chairman reportedly hating the one-time WWE Champion’s physique.
