Tony Khan Believes These Stars Are The Next Faces Of AEW

Will Ospreay Credits Tony Khan As Being Key To His American Wrestling Career

Tony Khan has revealed the faces of AEW.

With a pretty stacked roster and multiple champions, Khan’s promotion does not lack stars. However, despite the star-filled rosters, fans often associate the promotion with World Champion Jon Moxley and TBS Champion Mercedes Mone as the faces of the company.

However, Khan believes many other young stars in his roster have the capability of owning that spot. A few days ago, in an interview with “The Five Star Podcast“, Khan shared a few names that he believes can become the promotion’s next faces.

Julia Hart and Jamie Hayter are developing a rivalry and we just saw Jamie Hayter have a great match with Willow [Nightingale on AEW Collision]. I think Willow Nightingale’s a force in the company for years to come… I think all three of those women would be at the forefront of that conversation about faces of the company for the future and the present of AEW.

Look at for example MJF, Will Ospreay, and Toni Storm, all of them are very young people that have accomplished so much in wrestling. You have MJF and Toni Storm that have been great world champions in AEW. Will Ospreay is one of the greatest International wrestlers ever and a two-time International Champion and on a great run in the Continental Classic right now. Those are all top people.”

While, MJF (28 years), Ospreay (31 years), and Storm (29 years) have already established themselves as big entities in the wrestling industry, Khan believes their young age can help them drive the promotion’s direction for the next few years.

MJF is set to face Adam Cole at Worlds End, while Will Ospreay currently finds himself in a tricky spot in the Continental Classic. Toni Storm recently returned to the promotion with a completely new gimmick.
