AEW star MJF has stirred the pot once again in regards to his wrestling future as he waxes lyrical about his relationship with WWE executive Bruce Prichard.
MJF has frequently alluded on AEW television to being the subject of a wrestling bidding war when his contract with All Elite Wrestling runs out in 2024. Reports have previously suggested that WWE’s interest in the three-time Dynamite Diamond ring winner is very high.
Now speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, MJF has fanned the flames on his future once again as he explains how close he is to WWE’s Executive Director of Raw and SmackDown, Bruce Prichard:
“Bruce Prichard and me go way back. When he was in MLW, he was one of the lead producers there. And, I mean, he would watch me do promos. I mean, he was floored by me, absolutely enamored by me. I was the prettiest girl at the ball. We’d just sit down and we’d just shoot the sh*t, and I love Bruce. I think Bruce is a hell of a guy and has a hell of a mind. I think he produces incredible television. So yes, I’ve talked to Bruce multiple times.”
“As far as how I’ve been reached out to, legally, it’s not smart for me to answer that question. But what I can say, emphatically, is there is an absurd amount of interest in me.”
MJF has also responded to his former bodyguard Wardlow being removed from the AEW roster page after he was sent home by The Pinnacle leader on AEW Dynamite.
