Aussie Open’s Mark Davis suffered a major injury at AEW WrestleDream.
Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher were competing for the AEW World Tag Team Championships against FTR’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler. Davis revealed on X that he had snapped his wrist during the match, which had already ended in disappointment for Aussie Open.
The extent of the damage to Davis’ wrist remains unclear, and it is unknown how much time he will need to recover before returning to the ring. The incident occurred during a closely contested match. However, Aussie Open were unable to capture championship gold as Cash Wheeler pinned Kyle Fletcher to retain the titles for FTR.
