AEW Pays Tribute To Joe Koff
After AEW President Tony Khan purchased ROH in March of 2022, Koff stepped away from the promotion, but PWInsider makes it clear that the lifelong wrestling fan remained passionate about the company and supported many of the talents there. AEW took to social media to pay tribute to Koff after news of his passing, writing:
The AEW & Ring of Honor Family, along with the wrestling world mourn the passing of Joe Koff. Our thoughts are with his family and his friends.
While he was still ROH COO, Joe Koff spoke with Inside the Ropes in 2021, opening up about keeping the company running during the pandemic, pointing out rising stars, and fans’ longtime loyalty to the brand.
Inside the Ropes sends our deepest condolences to the friends and family of Joe Koff at this difficult time.
