Thunder Rosa wants to end the beef with fellow AEW star Britt Baker.
It is a well-known fact that Thunder Rosa and Britt Baker are bitter rivals, with their dislike for each other going beyond the ring. While the origin of this rivalry is vague, people often point to Baker liking a tweet about Rosa allegedly sandbagging her opponent as the act that opened the proverbial can of worms.
The two AEW stars have traded jabs even outside the ring, with Baker claiming that anything the former AEW Women’s Champion said sounded stupid. The rivalry is so intense that Rosa compared it to the one between Rock and Austin.
While many instances shaped this feud, it is safe to say that there is bad blood among them, and the heat remains unresolved. Despite this, Rosa and Baker have remained professional and put on some incredible matches.
Thunder Rosa Is Open To Settling Her Feud With Britt Baker In AEW
In an appearance on KFOX14, the host and Thunder Rosa discussed the two amazing matches she had with Baker that were the highlights of their rivalry.
Rosa acknowledged the feud and spoke fondly of her matches, particularly the cage match on Dynamite where she became AEW Women’s champion. Rosa is also ready to settle things with Baker in the ring whenever she returns.
She said:
“That cage match is one of the most brutal, violent, and bloody matches that you’ve seen two women head-to-head and you know we didn’t end the feud there, that’s where I won the championship that Dr Britt Baker had. So I always say that I’m still waiting for her to come back because I am her past and her future so whenever she’s ready I’m ready to finish this this beef that we had for a couple of years now. I was very blessed that with her that I was able to headline that Dynamite in 2021 and then Dynamite in 2022 those are the matches that definitely define my career”
