Emanating from the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, IA, the December 19th episode of WWE Raw is set to feature a one on one confrontation between Becky Lynch and Bayley!
Back in July, Bayley made her return to WWE after being out for more than a year due to a knee injury. Following Bianca Belair‘s Raw Women’s Championship victory over Becky Lynch at SummerSlam, Bayley made her way to the ring to the shock of the crowd, and she had fellow returning stars Dakota Kai and IYO SKY in tow. The group that would go on to be known as Damage CTRL confronted Belair, and Becky Lynch, who’d suffered a shoulder injury during her bout, joined in the face off.
The next night on WWE Raw, Becky Lynch confirmed that she would need to take time away due to injury, but Damage CTRL weren’t content to let her leave in peace, attacking The Man backstage. Lynch finally returned to WWE just before Survivor Series and scored the win for her team inside WarGames, pinning Dakota Kai much to the chagrin of Bayley and her group.
The animosity between Bayley and Lynch is at a fever pitch, and the two are finally scheduled to face off in singles action.
Meanwhile, Dexter Lumis and The Miz are scheduled to take part in a Winner Take All Ladder Match on WWE Raw. The two have been at odds for months, and Lumis even kidnapped The Miz back in August. However, Johnny Gargano revealed that Miz had actually hired Lumis to attack him in an effort to gain clout, but Miz had gone back on their arrangement and stopped paying Lumis for his services.
Lumis defeated Miz to earn himself an official WWE contract three weeks ago, and he also forced Miz to pay him the rest of his money. Last week, Lumis and Gargano used some of the earnings to buy merchandise for the WWE fans, but Miz is distraught at not having cash available to him. Now, the two will hang Lumis’ money along with a matching sum from The Miz above the ring, and the winner of their ladder match will take home all of the winnings.
The December 19th episode of WWE Raw is also set to feature a clash between The Street Profits and The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest.
