WWE Hall Of Famer “Not Holding Their Breath” On Return, Still “Waiting For The Call”

WWE Hall Of Famer Reveals Why They Were Paid Less For The Royal Rumble

One Hall of Famer isn’t holding her breath waiting for a call from WWE.

Back in 2023, The Bella Twins announced that they were no longer under WWE contract and would be known as The Garcia Twins going forward. Both Brie and Nikki Garcia have been outspoken about their time in the sports entertainment giant as well as WWE’s booking of its women’s division, and Nikki didn’t hesitate to respond when she was subtly snubbed on an episode of Raw.

However, those fences are long since mended. On the January 6th episode of Raw, the longest-reigning Divas Champion was shown in the crowd as one of the celebrities in attendance to celebrate the red brand’s move to Netflix, and speaking about the experience, Garcia opened up about her part in the rocky relationship between herself and WWE. She also made a surprise return in the 2025 Royal Rumble but hasn’t appeared for the company since then.

On a recent episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, the Bellas spoke with Nia Jax during WrestleMania weekend, and Brie shared ideas for the twins to once again get involved on The Grandest Stage of Them All. One idea would see them serve as lumberjills during the championship match between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton, and when Nikki got excited about the idea, Brie said:

“WWE, call me, I’ll join creative. They haven’t called. If you guys want to call.”

Later in the podcast, Jax issued a friendly challenge to the twins, saying:

“When you guys come back, I can kick both your asses.”

However, Nikki made it clear that Brie hadn’t been invited to come back, saying:

“She’s still waiting for a call. We’re all waiting for something.”

Brie added:

“Not going to hold my breath, let me tell you.”
