While much of the wrestling world has fallen in love with LA Knight, Kevin Nash sees the star as nothing more than a rip-off of The Rock.
In recent months LA Knight has risen to become one of the most popular stars in all of WWE and was greeted like a hero by crowds during SmackDown and Money In The Bank in London, England. Knight has been praised not only for not only his presentation but promo skills, although his critics believe he leans too heavily on the styles of Steve Austin and in particular The Rock.
Speaking on a recent episode of Kliq This, Kevin Nash joined those who are critical of Knight, calling him an “absolute rip off” of The Great One, while discussing his most recent promo on SmackDown.
“Am I the only one that sees like an absolute rip off of The Rock to the point when he cut the promo on fu**ing Logan Paul or whatever the fu** his name is. The only thing he didn’t do is turn the motherfu**er sideways. Jesus Christ, does everybody have amnesia? There’s nothing original.”
LA Knight Hits Back At Comparisons With WWE Legend The Rock
Knight recently addressed those who make comparisons between himself and The Rock and Steve Austin, quickly batting them away as fans might expect. The SmackDown star said that while there are similarities between his presentation and the two legends, he brings something very different to the table, adding that his goal is to eventually surpass them.
LA Knight recently addressed being described as a throwback to the Attitude Era in an interview.
