WWE Hall Of Famer Believes Tony Khan Should Let This AEW Star Go

Tony Khan Still Looking To Book For The Sickos, Thinks Violent First-Time-Ever Match On AEW TV

WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff believes Tony Khan should cut this AEW star loose.

After news broke that Penta El Zero Miedo was leaving AEW, his brother Rey Fenix began speaking out about his dissatisfaction with All Elite Wrestling. Despite indicating that he wants to leave the company, Fenix is still under AEW contract as he had time added to his deal due to injury.

Another star in a similar position is Miro, whose request to be released from AEW in fall of 2024 has so far been denied.

Speaking on the latest edition of 83 Weeks, Eric Bischoff took Tony Khan to task for keeping Miro under contract when he hasn’t been seen on TV in quite some time.

“If there’s no plan to use him then for God’s sake, I know money doesn’t matter because Tony’s not held accountable financially for anything, but damn, do the right thing. It’s not like it’s going to hurt your business Tony, just cut them loose, save the money, donate it.”

“That’s How You Kill A Brand” – Eric Bischoff On Tony Khan

According to Bischoff, Khan is doing a disservice to Miro by keeping him under contract as he’s unable to perform anywhere else.

“When was the last time we saw Miro on TV? Year and a half? I couldn’t tell you, I mean talk about killing a guy’s career. There’s two ways to kill a guy’s career; overexpose him, and put him on a shelf indefinitely, out of sight out of mind. That’s how you kill a brand.”
