WWE has submitted an application for a trademark that Bryan Danielson fans will be very familiar with.
On September 30th, the company filed for the two trademarks for the phrase “Yes Yes Yes” via the United States Patent & Trademark Office for the following services related to professional wrestling:
Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal;
providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment
Clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands; bandanas; championship trophy belts
The Yes chant was a huge part of Danielson’s character while in WWE and saw thousands of fans use it to show their support on his journey to the main event of WrestleMania 30. Bryan Danielson attempted to trademark the phrase in late July but later revealed in an interview that he was contracted by WWE for infringing on their intellectual property. On September 20th, Danielson abandoned his application and it is now listed as “Dead” and “Abandoned.”
Bryan Danielson Set For Major Match At AEW WrestleDream
After being attacked by Jon Moxley at All Out, the AEW World Champion returned on the Grand Slam special of Dynamite. First defeating longtime rival Nigel McGuinness, Danielson later confirmed that he would put the title on the line against Mox at WrestleDream on October 12th.
