Fans may not see Becky Lynch compete in the ring for quite some time, thanks to a severe shoulder injury.
Becky Lynch suffered a separated shoulder during her match against Bianca Belair this past weekend at SummerSlam. The Man appeared on Monday Night Raw in a sling and confirmed the injury in front of a packed house in Houston, TX.
After sharing the ring with Belair and saying goodbye to the WWE fans, Lynch was attacked by Bayley and her new faction backstage. The new group targeted Lynch’s injured arm with a steel chair and escaped just before Belair could make the save.
WWE has updated The Man’s health status following last night’s vicious attack. The former Raw Women’s Champion is now expected to be out for several months. This comes after Lynch turned babyface and admitted her wrongdoings over the past year.
After Bayley’s new faction assaulted Lynch, they interfered in a match between Asuka and Alexa Bliss. This led Belair to challenge a member of Bayley’s faction to a match later on, which Iyo Sky accepted. Their match ended in a no-contest after a brawl broke out between Bayley’s group and Belair, Bliss, and Asuka.

As for Lynch, her injury may put her out of action for the rest of the year. Whether or not she’ll make it back in time for WrestleMania 39 remains to be seen.
