The main event for WWE Crown Jewel has been confirmed.
According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer has written that the main event for WWE Crown Jewel has been set. The match everyone will be talking about will be LA Knight challenging Roman Reigns for his Universal Championship. A segment for the match was filmed during the October 13th SmackDown show, and the official announcement from WWE is pending.
The Crown Jewel event is set to take place on November 4th at the Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and it will be the tenth event that WWE will hold in the country as part of its ten-year partnership with the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Sport in support of the Saudi Vision 2030 project. The show is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET, which will be 6 p.m. for UK fans.
Matches that have been officially confirmed include:
- Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE World Heavyweight Title
- Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Zoey Stark vs. Raquel Rodriguez in a Fatal five-way match for the WWE Women’s World Title
Meltzer has also speculated that Rey Mysterio will defend his US Title against Logan Paul and Judgment Day’s Damian Priest and Finn Balor will likely face Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso in a rematch for the Tag Team Titles.
In a new update, WWE has confirmed that Roman Reigns will defend the championship at Crown Jewel.
Will Cristiano Ronaldo Be At WWE Crown Jewel?
While nothing has been confirmed by either party it has been rumoured that WWE is working on a deal to bring Cristiano Ronaldo to WWE Crown Jewel. Ronaldo currently captains the Saudi League team Al Nassar meaning he will be in the country when the show is set to take place.
