The main event of the June 14th episode of Dynamite ended in all-out chaos in large part due to the arrival of Will Ospreay.
The NJPW star made the surprise appearance at the end of a wild main event which saw Hangman Adam Page team up with the Young Bucks to take on Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta. The match had already gone well and truly off the rails even before Ospreay arrived with a shocking run-in from Eddie Kingston who brawled with Castagnoli and Yuta which got him on the wrong side of Moxley.
Knonosuke Takeshita then got involved and took out Kingston which brought out Kenny Omega. The Young Bucks took out the BCC leaving Omega to hit a V-Trigger on Takeshita, but as the star turned around he was blasted with a huge Superkick from Ospreay.
The British star made sure to play some mind games with Omega before flattening him with the Hidden Blade.
Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega are set to meet on June 25th at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, with the latter’s IWGP United States Championship on the line. Omega won the gold back at Wrestle Kingdom 17 with a victory over Ospreay.
Absolute mayhem has been unleashed as Konosuke Takeshita blindsides Eddie Kingston and Kenny Omega takes aim at Takeshita, but Will Ospreay sets the tone for Forbidden Door!
