Tyson Fury has dropped another update regarding a WWE return.
The WBC Heavyweight Champion is best known for his monumental run as a professional boxer but has made multiple appearances in the sports entertainment world.
Realising that his time in boxing may be coming to an end, Fury has hinted that we will be making a return to the company where he is still undefeated.
While being interviewed for Sports Illustrated, Fury believes that more appearances in WWE are possible and there is more he is able to do within the company:
“I’ve been doing this for 15 years, which is a long time. I know it won’t last forever. And it’s true, I’ve had a few good stints in WWE. There is still a lot of opportunity there.”
Fury continued, noting what it is like to be at a Live Event and revealed that he would explore it more when his boxing career comes to an end.
“It’s an amazing experience there,” said Fury. “At the moment, I’m very busy with boxing. I’m still active and on top of my chosen profession, so this is where my focus will be. After that, we’ll see.”
Fury’s next opponent will be Francis Ngannou.
Tyson Fury & WWE: A Brief History
First appearing on Raw in 2019, Fury confronted the biggest Superstar he could find, Braun Strowman. Following a pull-apart brawl with The Monster Among Men, a match was set for Crown Jewel 2019 in Saudi Arabia. At the pay-per-view, Fury won the match via count-out after delivering a knockout blow to Strowman while he was on the apron.
Making a return in 2022, Fury was seen in the front row during the Clash at the Castle PLE. Knocking out Austin Theory to prevent a Money in the Bank cash-in, the WBC Heavyweight Champion made his way to the ring after the main event to acknowledge Roman Reigns and sang “American Pie” with challenger Drew McIntyre.
Regarding Fury making another return in the company, Triple H has previously stated that “The door is always open.”
