“The Door Is Always Open” – Triple H Addresses Tyson Fury WWE Return

Tyson Fury sits in-ring at WWE Crown Jewel 2019

Tyson Fury returned to WWE programming at Clash At The Castle in a non-wrestling role, but another match may not be too far away!

As was confirmed before the event, Tyson Fury was indeed in attendance at WWE Clash At The Castle. ‘The Gypsy King’ was shown on numerous occasions, including speaking backstage with Roman Reigns and sitting at ringside alongside UFC Welterweight Champion Leon Edwards.

He got physical towards the night’s conclusion, though, knocking out Theory, and then staring down Reigns. According to Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, a potential return to a WWE ring isn’t out of the question for Fury, as he told Good Morning Britain’s Joel Duncan during the post-show press conference:

“I can tell you this, when Tyson Fury does finish his work inside the boxing ring, probably the entire time as the World Heavyweight Champion, retiring undefeated, but when he does that, the door is always open for him here, we love to do business with him, we enjoy what we get to do with him.

Like he said, having him [and] his family here is our pleasure. I know they mess with each other, I saw the look between him and Roman Reigns tonight. When the time comes, and Tyson Fury and I have that conversation, I can guarantee you this, we’re gonna have to build some bigger stadiums somewhere to hold that event.”

Tyson Fury hasn’t competed in WWE since Crown Jewel 2019, defeating Braun Strowman via count out. Before it was confirmed that Drew McIntyre would be challenging Roman Reigns at Clash At The Castle, it was believed Fury may have collided with ‘The Scottish Warrior’.

Fury confirmed his retirement – again – only a few weeks ago, having last fought in April against Dillian Whyte. However, he looks set to come out of retirement following an Instagram rant that stemmed from Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk’s heavyweight collision, with an anticipated fight against Joshua the dream clash for Tyson fans.
