A top star was left embarrassed at AEW Summer Blockbuster, as he forgot to cover his face after being unmasked.
The second match of the night at AEW Summer Blockbuster saw The Hurt Syndicate take on the duo of JetSpeed and Mascara Dorada. It was an intense match, but at the end of the day, MJF, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin proved too much for their opponents.
However, if the loss wasn’t bad enough, Mascara Dorada was humiliated at the hands of MJF. In the center of the ring, Friedman did the unthinkable, as he removed the mask of the CMLL star. Furthermore, things went from bad to worse, as Dorada forgot to cover his face for a moment.

Taking off the mask of a luchador is the highest form of disrespect. However, that has always been the least concern for MJF. All he cares about is getting back to the top of AEW.
MJF will take on Mistico at AEW Grand Slam Mexico
MJF was successful in disrespecting one luchador in Mascara Dorada, but he may not be done. Prior to the Trios match tonight, Friedman had a confrontation with Mistico. The 42-year-old will go head-to-head with the Young Genius at AEW Grand Slam Mexico.
It is sure to be a huge match, as tensions between the two stars are already rising. Not only did MJF refer to Mistico as “Sloppy Sin Cara,” but he also promised to remove the latter’s mask, just like he did with Dorada. With that in mind, it will be exciting to see how their match goes in Mexico City.
