Tony Khan Makes Major Prediction Regarding AEW's Financial Future

Tony Khan sees big things in the future for AEW.

On September 7th, All Elite Wrestling will present All Out for the 6th time and on October 2nd will have been on national television for 5 years. In addition to the domestic impact, the company is also set to debut in Australia in early 2025 and return to the UK for the third time in the summer.

While the positives are continually touted by Khan, in the background many are aware that the all-important media rights deal has still not been secured, meaning that there are still no guarantees that the shows will be broadcast on the Warner Bros. Discovery network for the next period.

In regards to the financials, MJF stated in a previous interview that if the company does secure a new media rights deal then it would be the second most profitable wrestling promotion in history with only WWE being more successful. According to Khan, this is accurate.

When asked about this on the All Out media call, Khan stated that AEW was very much on course to be the second most profitable wrestling promotion of all time:

“That’s reasonable. Whether those cash flows happen overnight when the new deal kicks in, I can’t say those things for sure yet as there’s still a lot to figure out. I do think the die is cast that AEW will be the second-most profitable company, at this point, of all-time which is very impressive for a promotion that is just over five years old and has been on TV for less than five years.”

Tony Khan Addresses Status On Injured Star

Unfortunately, a number of wrestlers are currently side-lined with injury and there is no indication of when they will return to action. Also on the media call, Tony Khan was asked when fans can expect to see a certain star back on AEW TV.
