AEW CEO Tony Khan has announced that the highly anticipated AEW All Out pay-per-view event will once again take place a week after AEW All In in 2024.
The decision comes as Khan aims to “build traditions” and take advantage of the bank holiday in England and Labor Day in the United States. During the All In post-show media scrum, Khan expressed his desire to establish a tradition with the event, stating:
I try to build traditions and we have something really special that we did tonight and that’s why this same bank holiday weekend, I want people to know bank holiday weekend, Sunday, Wembley, that’s a tradition.
He believes that the unique opportunity provided by the bank holiday weekend and the three-day weekend in America presents an ideal setting for a live event.
Khan further emphasised his commitment to maintaining both events, stating, “I don’t want to give up that real estate” and expressing confidence in his ability to keep the momentum going for both AEW All In and All Out. He also highlighted the success of hosting All Out in Chicago and expressed his desire to continue the tradition due to its overwhelmingly positive reception.
This year’s All Out is scheduled for Sunday, September 2nd, and has generated significant anticipation among wrestling fans worldwide. In addition to the exciting news surrounding All Out, AEW has also announced that the AEW All In pay-per-view event will return to the iconic Wembley Stadium in London in the summer of 2024.
