Tony Khan Has A Dream AEW’s Library Lands On Max

AEW President Tony Khan

Tony Khan has given an update on AEW’s efforts to move to a streaming service.

Now that Dynamite has racked up 200 episodes and Rampage has passed the 100 mark, AEW has built up quite the video library. This combined with the launch of Collision and Tony Khan’s ownership of Ring of Honor, puts AEW in a very strong position to build for the future and step into the world of streaming.

Khan has repeatedly spoken of the possibility and in a new interview with Mike Johnson of PWInsider, reiterated that he has a “dream” AEW lands on Warner Bros Max.

“We have all the bones for a really strong streaming platform. It would be a very strong addition to any streaming platform, and my dream is that it all lands on Max. It would be tremendous. Right now, AEW All Access is available on Max, which is very cool, and hopefully, that is a step in the right direction, getting our stuff steaming.

We have a great library. All together, with everything I own, it’s thousands of hours of great wrestling and the AEW catalog has grown so much considering we started this thing from scratch four years ago. I believe the streaming service will happen. As to where it is and what platform it is, that’s something that I believe largely will be influenced by Warner Bros.”

Tony Khan Admits AEW’s Pay-Per-View Schedule Could Be Expanded

Tony Khan is currently in negotiations with Warner Bros Discovery over AEW’s media rights deal. While discussions are said to be going well, there could be some changes on the way to AEW programming as a result.

These changes could see AEW add more pay-per-views to their calendar, something Tony Khan is open to.
