TNA Star Accuses Tiffany Stratton Of Gimmick Theft

Tiffany Stratton in WWE NXT

TNA star Ash by Elegance isn’t taking comparisons to Tiffany Stratton lightly.

Tiffany Stratton has been nothing short of impressive since joining WWE in August of 2021. The star was crowned NXT Women’s Champion at NXT Battleground in May of 2023, holding the title for 107 days before losing to Becky Lynch.

In February of 2024, Stratton officially joined the SmackDown roster, and she’s already earned the love of fans worldwide. During the Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia, chants of “Tiffy Time” could be heard throughout the stadium, and heavy boos rang out when Stratton was eliminated from the match.

Ash By Elegance Calls Tiffany Stratton A “Knock-Off Barbie”

One star who’s less impressed by Stratton, however, is TNA’s Ash By Elegance, formerly known as WWE’s Dana Brooke. Brooke was one of multiple stars released from their WWE contracts on September 21st, and made her TNA debut at Hard to Kill in January. The star made her in-ring debut with TNA in February.

When WWE’s Natalya took to social media to praise Ash for an impressive swanton bomb, one fan responded that it wasn’t as good as the one performed by Stratton. Ash had a biting response, writing:

“Funny thing is I’ve been doing it for years & she loves to steal everyone’s moves & gimmicks … knock off Barbie… -“

As of now, Stratton has not responded to the slight. However, Ash’s tweet has sparked backlash from online fans, who quickly pointed to Stratton’s level of success in WWE as compared to that of the former Dana Brooke.
