It has been reported that the CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre match has had a stipulation officially confirmed.
The highly anticipated rematch between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk at WWE Bash in Berlin is set to feature a strap match stipulation, according to reports from the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. While WWE has yet to make an official announcement, Dave Meltzer has confirmed the match details. Meltzer stated:
The fourth major match, not yet announced but was confirmed to us, is C.M. Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in a strap match.
The strap match requires both competitors to be tethered together by a strap, forcing them to stay within close proximity throughout the bout.
In addition to the strap match, the event will also feature a World Heavyweight Title clash between Gunther and Randy Orton, where if Orton wins the bout he will be transferred to Raw and Gunther will be moved to SmackDown.
What Did MJF Say Would Have Happened If He Wrestled CM Punk Again In AEW?
MJF spoke about a potential rematch with CM Punk in AEW if Punk were still in the promotion and said that he thinks he would have won the rematch if it were to have taken place. MJF also said that he would have waited to wrestle Punk again when he became AEW World Champion as he would have no reason to face him unless he was champion.
Still having fun on social media, Drew McIntyre recently fired shots at Tom Brady.
