Kenny Omega has revealed how a life-threatening illness drastically shifted his mindset, both in and out of the ring.

Now back in AEW and holding the AEW International Championship, Omega told Adi Shankar that he’s approaching his career with much more caution.

He credited his longtime agent Barry Bloom for prioritizing his health over money, saying, “You need to be healthy,” and that Bloom wouldn’t let anyone “get their hands on [me]” until he had medical clearance.

“This is coming from someone now who is understanding of his own mortality,” Omega said, emphasizing how the experience has reshaped his priorities.

A potential clash with Kazuchika Okada looms at All In Texas, but it’s clear fans are seeing a wiser, more measured version of The Cleaner.

“I’ve said it before, I don’t think — I don’t know if I’ve ever said it publicly or not, but I mean, I think we’re headed on a path where it’s like, a couple of WrestleManias down the road, the main event’s gonna be Logan Paul vs. Mr. Beast. WWE has officially trademarked the name for its latest faction, “The High Ryze.”

On May 12, the company filed for the trademark, which covers a variety of entertainment services, including wrestling exhibitions, fan club activities, and online content.

Fans got the first official look at the faction on the May 13 episode of NXT, when Wes Lee’s entrance graphics revealed “The High Ryze” as the name for his group, which includes Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe.
