Conflict could be coming to the WWE boardroom after it was suggested that new Chairwoman Stephanie McMahon “doesn’t like” WWE executive Kevin Dunn.
Following Vince McMahon’s retirement, his daughter Stephanie McMahon was named to be the new co-CEO alongside Nick Khan. It was also announced that her husband Paul “Triple H” Levesque would be returning as the new head of creative.
As part of the reshuffle it has been suggested that Kevin Dunn could be the next long-serving employee to depart. The Executive Producer has been with the company for many years and worked closely with Mr. McMahon.
As reported by Sportskeeda Wrestling, during an appearance on Busted Open Radio, Brandon Thurston cited sources who have said Stephanie McMahon and Kevin Dunn “don’t like each other.”
It was also noted that Kevin Dunn doesn’t seem to be a “Triple H guy.” If this is the case, this might spark trouble between the pair as The Game now has creative control.
It had also been reported that a lot of the talent thought that Dunn would be the next one to leave the company. With the whirlwind of recent changes that had been made, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the WWE Executive producer make his exit.
His reputation backstage is said to not be the most positive and it seems like Dunn sticking around would only cause problems for Stephanie McMahon, Triple H and some of the talent.
