Roman Reigns Will Be Back On SmackDown Soon

Roman Reigns on WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns will be back on SmackDown very soon.

The Tribal Chief hasn’t been seen on WWE television since the August 11th episode of SmackDown. At SummerSlam days earlier Reigns defeated Jey Uso to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Title, after Jimmy Uso returned and turned his back on his brother.

On SmackDown, fed up with the whole situation, Jey Uso quit WWE but has since moved to Raw.

Reigns has now been advertised for the October 13th episode of SmackDown at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This comes after Reigns was advertised on the Fiserv Forum’s official website for the SmackDown show in Milwaukee on October 27th.

It had previously been reported that Roman Reigns will be back in action at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, meaning his next match will take place on November 4th. The report added the star will be on SmackDown in the lead-up to the show to build his match — whoever it’s against.

Cody Rhodes References Roman Reigns On Raw

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes have been walking separate paths since WrestleMania 39, but the feeling remains that the American Nightmare and Reigns will meet once again.

Rhodes has often spoken of his desire to “finish the story,” and that means defeating Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. Speaking on Raw, Rhodes referenced Reigns for the first time in months, commenting “Something tells me we’re not in the third inning anymore, boys.”

The comments were a direct reference to claims made by Paul Heyman who had previously stated that The Bloodline was “in the bottom of the third inning” and just getting started after SummerSlam.
