Roman Reigns won’t be lacing up his boots again for almost another two months.
While Reigns has utterly dominated WWE’s main event scene on the grandest of stages, his match schedule has decreased dramatically. Despite being the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Reigns now works a part-time schedule and regularly takes breaks from television tapings and Premium Live Events, while rarely working house shows.
Reigns is currently in the middle of one of these breaks, and it seems he won’t be wrestling anytime soon. Reporting in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that Reigns won’t wrestle again until November 4th when WWE returns to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel.
This confirms that he’ll miss Fastlane on October 7th. The star has already skipped Payback, wrestling his most recent match at SummerSlam.
“As expected, the next Reigns match will be 11/4 in Saudi Arabia. He will be back on television in the time leading to that show to promote the match.”
Will Roman Reigns Miss The Royal Rumble?
There’s been speculation in recent days that Roman Reigns could even miss the 2024 Royal Rumble. On September 13th, WWE announced that the Royal Rumble will be returning to Florida in January 2024.
However, one man notably absent from the first batch of posters and advertising was the Tribal Chief.
It should be noted that just because Reigns isn’t advertised now, it doesn’t mean he won’t be added to the card at a later date.
