Roman Reigns was issued a threat on the July 26th episode of SmackDown.
The final moments of this week’s SmackDown episode witnessed the new Tribal chief Solo Sikoa issue a threat to Roman Reigns. Moments after addressing his match against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam, Solo Sikoa promised to bring Rhodes’ Championship back to The Bloodline. He claimed:
In one weekend, The Bloodline will handle family business. If Roman Reigns got a problem with that, you know where to find me. You can end up like Randy Orton, Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes, and acknowledge me.”
Matt Hardy Opens Up On Roman Reigns’ Rumored Character Change
Speaking on his podcast, Matt Hardy opened up on Roman Reigns’ rumored return to the Stamford-based promotion in a different babyface character. Hardy shared:
He’s just gotta do the same shtick he was doing before with The Bloodline, except he’s gonna be positioned in the role of the hero. I don’t even think he changes a whole lot. I just think you act the same way. You do the same deal. You get back the original crew. You put The Usos back together in there.”
Although, against Reigns’ babyface turn, Matt Hardy believes the promotion needs to build up Sikoa’s version of The Bloodline a lot more than its current state.
