Renee Paquette AEW 2025

Is AEW’s Renee Paquette done with wrestling after her contract expires in 2025?

After an eight-year stint in WWE, between 2012 and 2020, Paquette left the sports entertainment capital. Two years later, she joined AEW, where her husband, Jon Moxley, was under contract as a wrestler. It appears Paquette’s contract with Tony Khan’s promotion is about to expire.

Renee Paquette’s AEW Contract Runs Only Until August 2025

Paquette has two contracts with AEW: as talent and producer. As reported by BodySlam, her contract runs until August, along with other talents like Matt Menard and Angelo Parker.

While all of these talents could simply re-sign with AEW, they have not put ink on paper just yet. Also on the list of names who are potentially on their way out is AEW’s inaugural World Champion Chris Jericho, whose contract will end by the end of the year.

Paquette has been a valuable addition to the AEW team. She serves as a backstage interviewer and pre-show panelist. She also hosts her own interview series called “Close Up with Renee Paquette” on the AEW YouTube channel.

During her stint with WWE, Paquette had the same designation. On her way out, she gave her previous employer a major contribution: Jackie Redmond. The new on-screen personality recently articulated her gratitude towards Paquette for the latter’s mentorship.

Redmond continues to be positioned in a prominent spot on WWE’s shows, while Paquette is her counterpart in AEW. It remains to be seen what the future holds for Paquette as her husband, Jon Moxley, continues to be AEW’s World Champion.
