Recent AEW Signee Issues Challenge To MJF

A notable wrestler who recently signed with AEW has addressed is previous altercation with MJF and how is he is more than willing to face off against the former World Champion.

AJ Befumo, better known by his ring name Big Boom AJ, rose to prominence on social media thanks to his videos with son Big Justice and The Rizzler. Collectively known as the CostCo Guys, Making his debut at Full Gear 2024, AJ defeated QT Marshall on the pre-show.

Later that year, Marshall was in action against MJF at BRCW Festival Of Fights. With Marshall looking to capitalise on a ref bump with a steel chair, “Big Boom” AJ made the save and also had a brief stare-down with the former World Champion.

While speaking with Justin Barrasso for Undisputed, AJ first spoke about his independent appearance and the stare-down:

“I wanted to be there because it was a great chance to build pro wrestling in Boca Raton. It just so happened that MJF was wrestling that night against QT Marshall, someone I’m not very fond of. I was backstage, I’d taken a few pictures. When I saw that QT Marshall was about to do some dirty business with the chair, I wasn’t about to let that happen. So I got into the ring, got hold of the chair, and gave QT a ‘Big Boom’ right hand. Next thing I know, MJF is up in my face.”

“Big Boom” AJ Talks Possible Showdown With MJF

Following his second match at AEW Revolution, AJ confirmed that he, Big Justice and The Rizzler are all All Elite. Later in the interview, AJ addressed a possible match against the former World and International Champion:

“Listen, MJF. If you want to be on the wrong side of ‘Big Boom’ AJ, you never know when we might meet one day in the ring. But know that when we do meet in the ring, I’m bringing the boom.”
