One notable tag team is back together in IMPACT Wrestling.

Viewers of this week’s episode of IMPACT saw the return of Zachary Wentz as he interfered in an X-Division Title match featuring champion Chris Sabin and his old Rascalz running mate in Trey Miguel. Sabin appeared to have the victory in reach when Wentz slid in and ran at him with a high knee, giving Miguel the disqualification loss. Miguel looked shocked initially but the two did their classic Rascalz hand sign before embracing and then attacking the fallen Motor City Machine Gun.

The Rascalz Are Back In IMPACT Wrestling

They may be sans Wes Lee, who is currently with WWE, but The Rascalz are back where they began in IMPACT Wrestling. Wentz was also signed with WWE and went under the alias of Nash Carter, but was released after controversial photos of him were shared online as he and his then-wife Kimber Lee were having marital issues. The photo was of Wentz shaving in his bathroom and had a Hitler mustache while doing the Nazi salute. Wentz was let go from WWE during WrestleMania 38 weekend and was the current NXT Tag Team Champion with Lee at the time under the tag team name MSK. They were stripped of the titles and Lee later went on to find success as the North American Champion.

Wentz issued an apology since his release and many of his colleagues came to his defense. MJF, who is Jewish, was one of the most outspoken advocates for Wentz’s intergrity, going as far as sharing an out-of-character tweet on his friend’s behalf.
