NJPW Star Departs, Looks Set To Join WWE

After speculation regarding NJPW Star Hikuleo’s contract expiration and his potential departure from the company following the NJPW Dominion event, it has been confirmed that his final date with the company was on June 9th, 2024. Sources within the company have revealed that Hikuleo is expected to make a move to WWE, joining his family in the current Bloodline storyline.

Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net obtained this information from sources within NJPW, shedding light on Hikuleo’s imminent transition to WWE. It is worth noting that Hikuleo’s debut on WWE TV remains uncertain, especially considering the yet-to-be-seen official debut of Jacob Fatu, who is also anticipated to be part of the Bloodline storyline.

Notably, Hikuleo is the younger brother of current WWE Superstar Tama Tonga and the son of WWE Legend Haku, also known as Meng during his WCW days. With such strong familial ties within WWE and an exciting storyline awaiting him, Hikuleo’s move to WWE is poised to capture the attention of wrestling fans worldwide.

Due to a recent WWE trademark filing, plans appear to be in place for the debut.
