There are some new stars set for Wembley at AEW All In.
AEW took to Instagram on Monday to display a new advertisement in hype for the massive event upcoming August 27 that announces some new names that are indeed “all in.”
“Saraya, Sting, Darby Allin, Chris Jericho, Christian Cage and Luchasaurus are ALL IN! Are you? AEW All In will take place at the iconic Wembley Stadium on Sunday, August 27th! Do not miss out on this historic event!”
With the exception of Luchasaurus and Cage, the others were previously featured on advertisements for the historic event, but no names were made official.
Plenty Of Intrigue In Build For AEW All In
Those select faces being on the same promo sure makes sense, particularly Jericho, Sting and Allin. The two latter have been brewing in a feud with Jericho these past several weeks as the three have shared the ring together not once, but twice in two weeks. Sting and Allin teamed with Tomohiro Ishii at Forbidden Door 2 to defeat Jericho, Sammy Guevara and Minoru Suzuki. Then later that week on “AEW Dynamite” Sting literally soared in the main event as he and Allin faced Jericho and Guevara in tag action. Matters didn’t end well for “The Ocho” who was forced to submit to Sting’s Scorpion Deathlock.
Speculation is that one of the headline matches at All In could be Sting vs. Chris Jericho straight up in singles competition. Before the aforementioned two battles, the two legends never faced one another in the ring.
