MJF’s Opponent Determined For AEW Full Gear

MJF's Opponent Determined For AEW Full Gear

MJF now knows who he will face at the next AEW pay-per-view.

Back at WrestleDream, Maxwell Jacob Friedman once again attempted to blindside Daniel Garcia before a returning Adam Cole made the save. On the next episode of Dynamite, Cole made it clear that he wanted another match against his former best friend before being interrupted by Roderick Strong, who also wanted revenge on the former World Champion.

With both men unable to come to an agreement, MJF laid out his terms for the match, stating that whichever man could get 3 consecutive wins in a row first would face him at Full Gear on November 23rd.

Both men started out strong with Cole picking up victories over Buddy Matthews and Malakai Black and Strong being victorious over Shane Taylor and The Beast Mortos. However, on the November 13th episode of Dynamite, only one man would pick up that all-important final victory. While Strong defeated Lance Archer in a falls count anywhere match, Cole was unable to beat International Champion Konosuke Takeshita later in the night, meaning that Strong will be the first one to get a chance at MJF at Full Gear.

The updated Full Gear Line-Up Is As Follows:

MJF Denied Use Of Legendary Move

During his time in All Elite Wrestling, the former World Champion has used a variety of moves to win matches and championships. However, despite asking a WWE Hall of Famer, MJF was denied the opportunity to use an iconic finisher.

In other AEW news, an upcoming show has been cancelled.
