Ultimate Humiliation! MJF Unmasks Former WWE Star on AEW Grand Slam; Does the Unthinkable

MJF Fires Back At Fans Who Take Issue With WWE & AEW References On TV

MJF absolutely humiliated a former WWE star at AEW Grand Slam Mexico and did the unthinkable.

Heading into AEW Grand Slam Mexico tonight, MJF had one goal and one goal only: to humiliate his opponent. Well, he did just that, as he took on former WWE star Sin Cara, now known as Mistico, in a one-on-one match.

It was a gruelling bout that looked like it could go either way. However, the match ended after Friedman, clearly losing momentum, got disqualified after hitting Mistico with a “low blow.” If that wasn’t humiliating enough, he then did the unthinkable.

He showed the ultimate form of disrespect, keeping his word from the week prior, by unmasking Mistico in front of everyone in Arena Mexico. Things didn’t end there, though, as he proceeded to put on the mask, angering every single fan in attendance.

It was yet another act for MJF to add to the list of despicable things he has done in an AEW ring, and it is a very long list.

MJF unmasked Mascara Dorada the previous week at Summer Blockbuster

Last week at AEW Summer Blockbuster, MJF promised Mistico he would unmask him. Clearly, he lived up to that promise, but this isn’t the first time he has unmasked a luchador.

In fact, during the very same episode of Summer Blockbuster, minutes after making his promise to Mistico, Friedman unmasked Mascara Dorada. The unforgivable act took place after he and The Hurt Syndicate defeated Dorada and JetSpeed.

Much like what happened tonight, it was the ultimate form of disrespect. Hopefully, this does not become a habit every time he steps into the ring with a luchador.
