MJF Status Update Following AEW WrestleDream Appearance

Latest reports have emerged on MJF’s AEW status.

On October 12th, at the Tacoma Dome, fans were treated to the shocking returns of MJF and his former partner Adam Cole. At WrestleDream, Jack Perry defeated Katsuyori Shibata to retain his TNT Championship, post which Daniel Garcia appeared to save Shibata from Perry’s attack.

Fans were left shocked when Maxwell Jacob Friedman returned to drop Garcia with his fury of attacks. However, his return was cut short, when former NXT Champion Adam Cole returned to ambush ‘The Salt of the Earth’.

The former World Champion had been off television since All Out and was busy filming the upcoming Happy Gilmore sequel with Adam Sandler. However, Fightful Select’s latest report on the former World Champion’s status can be disheartening.

The new report notes that Friedman claimed backstage that he would be returning to shoot the Happy Gilmore sequel following his WrestleDream return. Igniting his old feud with Cole, ‘The Wolf’ had a few words to say.

MJF Addresses Adam Cole’s WrestleDream Return

Adam Cole was last seen at Double or Nothing when he was written off television following an ambush from MJF. Cole, who acted as the leader of The Undisputed Kingdom, worked as a heel before his hiatus, while Friedman was a babyface.

Now, following their latest returns, the roles have reversed. Soon after, the former champion addressed Cole’s return on X (Twitter).

Adam Cole.

You’ve made a big mistake.”

Based on the latest update, fans now need to wait and see when the two former friends clash inside the squared circle.
