MJF had a heartwarming moment with a longtime friend when they had a backstage reunion at a recent show.
The former AEW champion shocked everyone when he made a surprise appearance at MLW Summer Of The Beasts to attack Mistico.
MJF is no stranger to the promotion, as he was a tag team champion there and had a powerful faction named The Dynasty.
The faction featured him, Richard Holliday, and Alex Hammerstone, and it seems that he is bringing the band back together again, or at least a part of it.
MJF And Alex Hammerstone Have A Wholesome Backstage Reunion In MLW
While he doesn’t have the greatest reputation for being a friend, it seems that for him, certain alliances run deep.
MJF and Hammerstone were seen having a heartfelt reunion backstage, which was shared by MLW on Instagram. The post read:

Hammerstone, who returned to MLW in April this year, was previously with TNA and had also had a match in WWE NXT where he faced Oba Femi in a losing effort for the North American Title.
MJF is set to be a part of the Men’s Casino Gauntlet Match at All In: Texas on the 12th of July. He is also a part of AEW’s most talked-about factions, The Hurt Business.
With his rivalry with Mistico heating up and his AEW stablemates being occupied in their own match at the PPV, MJF could definitely use some backup at the event and maybe this reunion is a sign of things to come.
