MJF Gets Married To Current AEW Talent; Congratulations To The Couple

AEW star MJF recently got married.

A big congratulations are in order for MJF as he just recently tied the knot with a current AEW talent.

The Salt of the Earth came off an unsuccessful bid to take the AEW World Championship away from Hangman Page at Forbidden Door on August 24. The next night on Dynamite, he sent a fiery message to the current world champion and Mark Briscoe. At the end of his interview, he delivered a chilling warning to Briscoe, indicating he’s going after him, and when he’s done with The Sussex County Chicken, Hangman was next. MJF has currently not been seen on AEW TV after the Forbidden Door loss. This is because he had been busy preparing for the momentous day of his life outside the squared circle.

Just recently, the former world champion got married to backstage AEW personality and partner Alicia Atout. A couple of AEW stars attended the ceremony, such as father-and-son duo Taz and HOOK.

On X (Twitter), MJF had an interesting reaction to his marriage by saying he will never forget the day he got married.

Even when I’m old and grey I’m gonna feel the way I do today. The death of a bachelor,” MJF tweeted.

MJF and Atout began dating in 2023 and got engaged in November of the same year. The duo also goes way back in the independent scene, when The Salt of the Earth always teased the interviewer every time they shared a backstage moment.

AEW President & CEO Tony Khan Sent His Regards to MJF and Alicia Atout

One of the notable guests during the MJF-Alicia Atout marriage was AEW President & CEO Tony Khan. The top executive of the Jacksonville-based promotion greeted the newlywed couple and specifically thanked Atout for hosting a great marriage.

Best wedding ever! Thank you, @AliciaAtout!” TK tweeted.

Currently, the former world champion is taking a hiatus from television due to his recently concluded wedding ceremony. It will be interesting to see what he has in store for Mark Briscoe, who cost him the AEW World Championship match against Page, when he returns.
