Mercedes Mone is keen to get Megan Thee Stallion “in the ring very, very soon”.
Three-time Grammy Award winner Megan Thee Stallion has been linked with a move to wrestling on various occasions in recent years. In May 2023, the then WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez called out Megan and Cardi B for a tag team match. Former-WWE star Mojo Rawley recently shared how there were plans for Megan to work with Mercedes Mone in a previous Summerslam that “never materialized and fell through for one reason or another”.
But it appears Mercedes Mone is still very intent on helping Megan Thee Stallion’s wrestling debut happen, and it may be coming in the not-too-distant future. Mone spoke with TMZ recently about her past plans with Megan:
“A couple years back me and Meg we’re supposed to do something in the ring together. We were just rehashing that conversation, seeing where that could all play in the future. Whether she’s gonna be my tag team partner or my opponent, we have to see, but I want to get Meg Thee Stallion in the ring very, very soon one day.”
Mercedes and Megan were photographed together earlier this year at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards.

These comments arrive off the back of Mercedes Mone defending her TBS Championship against Britt Baker at AEW All In. Mone also competes in Japan with NJPW, and is set to defend her NJPW Strong Women’s Championship against Momo Watanabe at NJPW Capital Collision.
Mercedes Mone Addresses Reactions to Her Match At AEW All In
Mercedes Mone has spoken out about her TBS Championship match at AEW All In. The Wembley crowd were noticeably subdued compared to other matches on the night, and the CEO says the “mixed reactions” were partly caused by “audience fatigue”, as the match was placed directly after Will Ospreay vs. MJF.
