Massive Update On WWE Plans For Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar’s coming back to WWE and that’s bad news for Cody Rhodes.

24 hours after missing out on the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39, Cody Rhodes headed to Monday Night Raw to try and secure a rematch with Roman Reigns. However, all he got was a new rival in the shape of Brock Lesnar.

The Beast delivered a brutal attack to Rhodes and after some more violence, a match was set for Backlash. Incredibly, it was Rhodes who scored the win, but that only put him on the receiving end of more beatings from Lesnar and a second match at Night Of Champions. This time, Rhodes was unable to overcome a “broken arm” to slay The Beast.

Since then, Lesnar has been on hiatus, and Rhodes has moved into a left-field rivalry with Dominik Mysterio. The pair are set to meet at Money In The Bank in London, England on July 1st.

However, it seems that Brock Lesnar will also be joining them. As reported by WRKD Wrestling, Lesnar is expected to be at Money In The Bank to set up a deciding match with Rhodes.

Brock Lesnar is expected to appear at Money In The Bank to set up a third, gimmick match with Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam.

Brutal Gimmick Match To Return For Cody Rhodes Vs. Brock Lesnar III?

With Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes hell-bent on destroying each other it seems that another regular singles match won’t cut it. It was reported three weeks ago that WWE was considering bringing back the Texas Bullrope Match — or at least a variation — for their third and final match in Detroit at SummerSlam. The match was made famous by Rhodes’ father, the American Dream Dusty Rhodes.
