A massive brawl broke out on AEW Dynamite in response to a top star getting busted open.
The main event of tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw MJF take on Mark Briscoe at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio. The match ended in the Salt of the Earth’s favor, but what followed was complete and utter carnage.
Unsurprisingly, Friedman subjected Briscoe to a post-match attack. He brutalized the 40-year-old and even busted him open with the help of the Diamond Ring. It was tough to watch, and things would’ve probably gotten worse if Adam “Hangman” Page hadn’t intervened.
Hangman came out and scared off MJF. He then proceeded to check on Briscoe before chasing after the Young Genius with a seething look in his eyes. The two went at it in the middle of the crowd, before bringing things back into the ring.

Page looked set to take out Friedman, but the 29-year-old once again managed to escape through the crowd before taking any real damage. Safe to say, he got what he wanted tonight on Dynamite, and now he has the AEW World Champion’s full attention.
MJF wants to keep his contract and challenge for the AEW World Championship
The reason why things are getting heated between MJF and Hangman Page is greed. At All In Texas, Friedman won the Casino Gauntlet match, which saw him receive a contract, allowing him to challenge for the AEW World Championship.
However, that is seemingly not enough for the Young Genius. After all, over the last few weeks, he has been hounding Page to give him a title shot, while also allowing him to keep the contract. In other words, he wants to guarantee himself two title opportunities.
So far, Page has managed to reject him at every turn. However, if MJF continues to attack the former’s friends like he did with Briscoe tonight, Hangman may have to give him what he wants.
