Mandy Rose is disappointed to be left out of WWE NXT’s retelling of history.
After holding the NXT Women’s Championship for 413 days, Mandy Rose lost the title to Roxanne Perez on December 13th, 2022. Just one day later, fans were shocked to learn that Rose had been released from her WWE contract.
On the April 16th episode of NXT, Tatum Paxley recounted her love of the NXT Women’s Championship and how it fueled her obsession with the recently-dethroned Lyra Valkyria. During the segment, she pointed to champions of the past, including Bayley, Asuka, Shayna Baszler, Tiffany Stratton, and Becky Lynch.
Absent from the segment was any mention of Mandy Rose, despite Rose having held the NXT Women’s Championship for well over a year. When one fan pointed out Rose’s exclusion from the promo on social media, Rose responded:
Very disappointing, but not surprised…

Sasha Banks, Ember Moon, and Paige were also omitted from the video as all three are currently signed to All Elite Wrestling.
Why Was Mandy Rose Released From WWE?
Following her shock exit, it was revealed that Rose was let go after WWE became uncomfortable with the content she was posting on her FanTime subscription service. The images, videos and live streams were said to have become more sexual in nature, something WWE did not support. In the wake of her departure it was noted that WWE felt they had “no choice” but to release Mandy Rose, as they felt her content had gone “way, way over the line.”
The star is facing no financial distress after her, however, as it was revealed that her exclusive content offerings earned Mandy Rose over $1 million dollars in the month of December alone. Rose recently revealed that one fan had spent a five-figure sum on her content alone.
In recent news Mandy Rose spoke about her least favourite match in WWE.
