WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan recently revealed a behind-the-scenes moment she shared with WWE Champion Cody Rhodes after their historic wins at Crown Jewel 2024.
Both Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan made WWE history at the event, becoming the first men’s and women’s Crown Jewel champions after each won their respective champion vs. champion matches. Following their victories, Morgan and Rhodes were seen chatting on their way to the post-show championship ceremony, sparking curiosity among fans.
Speaking with Billboard, Morgan shared that their conversation was lighthearted, focusing on the impressive size and weight of the title belt.
He was just like, ‘How heavy is that thing. The title is so big, beautiful, and embellished (laughs). It’s like my size, essentially. It’s so heavy, but so cool.
Morgan also reflected on the honour of being crowned alongside Rhodes, highlighting the pride they both felt in that moment.
I think we both were happy, proud, and honoured that it was us.
Both the men’s and women’s Crown Jewel championship belts will be displayed in the WWE exhibit in Saudi Arabia, where they will remain until new champions are crowned at the 2025 Crown Jewel event.
