Karrion Kross has revealed he suffered an injury ahead of WrestleMania 41 weekend.

Last night, the former NXT Champion released ‘The Killer’, a documentary covering his recent worked-shoot promos that went viral and his wider WrestleMania 41 week. The documentary reveals that he suffered a ruptured eardrum during his match with AJ Styles on the April 14th edition of Raw.

It goes on to show Kross visiting a specialist to repair his eardrum two days before his Bloodsport match against JR Kratos and undergoing a procedure that caused him to pass out, lose colour and break out into a full-body sweat. Thankfully, however, the injury was successfully repaired, allowing him to compete against Kratos at Bloodsport.

He went on to compete in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the SmackDown before WrestleMania the next day. While he didn’t compete on The Grandest Stage Of Them All, he did end up making an appearance during AJ Styles and Logan Paul’s match.

Booker T Believes Karrion Kross Has A Limited Window To Become A Star

During a recent edition of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T gave his thoughts on Kross’ viral promos. While he wants to see the former NXT star get a sustained push, he believes “the clock is ticking” due to his age.

Clock is ticking on this dude. He ain’t getting any younger or anything like that. The thing about Karrion Kross, I don’t know if he’s going to get a shot or not to go out there and show exactly what he has.

I want to see Karrion Kross get a shot, a real shot, but I’m going to tell you this, Karrion Kross is going to have only one shot to actually go out there and really prove what he can bring to the table inside the middle of that square circle. So Karrion, when you get the shot, you better go out there and deliver because guess what, I’m going to be watching.

In recent news, Karrion Kross has teased a potential alliance with two recently released AEW stars.
