WWE Superstar Teases Partnership With Recently Released Former AEW Stars

AEW Star

Speculation is swirling after WWE star Karrion Kross teased a potential alliance with recently departed AEW duo Vincent and Dutch, formerly known as The Righteous.

News broke on Monday that Vincent and Dutch had officially parted ways with AEW. Their profiles were removed from the company’s roster page, and PWInsider later confirmed that the duo had requested and been granted their release from the company last week. They are now officially free agents.

The timing of their exit immediately sparked intrigue, especially after Kross took to social media with a cryptic teaser video. In the clip, the SmackDown star is shown sitting silently in a dimly lit hotel room as the opening notes of The Righteous’ AEW theme song begin to play. Kross then mimics Vincent’s signature entrance gesture, snapping his fingers, before ominously whispering his catchphrase: “Tick tock.”

The video has ignited fan speculation about whether the trio could be planning to unite in WWE, particularly given the eerie and theatrical presentation all three are known for. While no official confirmation has been made regarding Vincent and Dutch’s next move, the teaser has certainly fuelled anticipation that they may not remain free agents for long.

Kross has previously spoken about his desire to bring a darker, cult-like faction to WWE, a concept that would align well with the aesthetic of The Righteous.
