Jon Moxley has been confirmed to be a part of AEW Double or Nothing.
The IWGP World Heavyweight Champion recently returned to AEW following his triumphant victory at NJPW Windy City Riot and was successful in his defence against Powerhouse Hobbs on Dynamite. Following Moxley and Danielson being victorious over Kyle Fletcher and Jeff Cobb on the May 15th episode of Dynamite, Mox was attacked by Konosuke Takeshita, who has made it clear that he wants a title shot.
As announced by Tony Khan on social media, Takeshita will face Moxley at Double or Nothing in a World Title Eliminator match, meaning that if Takeshita is successful then he will receive a title shot in the future. Moxley’s next defence of the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship will take place at Dominion, where he will put the title on the line against Evil on June 9th.
