John Cena Returns To In-Ring Action

In a long-awaited return to the WWE ring, John Cena teamed up with R-Truth and The Miz to secure a victory over Judgment Day, comprised of Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh on Raw.

The match initially began as a handicap encounter, with Awesome Truth seeking an unseen partner. However, the surprise entry of Cena shifted the momentum in their favour. Displaying their dominance, the trio executed a 15-knuckle shuffle and triple AAs, effectively pinning all three members of Judgment Day. The match unfolded following R-Truth’s celebratory display alongside Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, thinking he was still a part of Judgment Day, holding his championship alongside them.

This marked Cena’s first WWE match since Crown Jewel in 2023 and was Cena’s first match in 2024, solidifying his ongoing record of competing in a match in WWE every year since his main roster debut in 2002.
