JBL On Which Money In The Bank Winner Would Be A “Disaster”

JBL has strong feelings against one WWE Superstar winning a Money in the Bank contract!

While WWE Hall of Famer JBL has never won a Money in the Bank match himself, he’s seen plenty of winners come and go during his long tenure in the wrestling business. During a recent appearance on WWE’s The Bump, the Wrestling God was asked if he had a favorite to win the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

“I do have a favorite. I think Riddle has a real chance of coming out of this thing as the Money In The Bank winner. I think Sheamus and Drew McIntyre are gonna cancel each other out. I don’t know if Omos can climb a ladder or not, he may have to have the old Big Show ladder, you know the one that was really big… I think Seth Rollins should obviously a favorite in this.”

However, the Texas native believes that if Sami Zayn wins the contract, it could lead to disaster within the company.

“To me, an absolute disaster would be Sami Zayn winning this thing… In the history of the world, however many billion years there have been, he is the most annoying human being to ever walk on god’s green earth. And if he had that contract that guarantees him a shot at that (WWE or Universal) Championship. It would be an absolute disaster.”

Though the 2022 edition of Money in the Bank was originally set to be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV, it was reported in May that the show would be moving to the smaller MGM Grand Garden Arena. It will still be held on Saturday, July 2nd as originally advertised.
