Latest reports reveal a major update on Jay White’s AEW return.
Earlier this year, Jay White suffered a foot injury during his semi-final match against Hangman Adam Page in the Owen Hart Tournament on the July 6 episode of Collision. Unfortunately, because of White’s injury, the Bang Bang Gang had to vacate their Trios Championship, which was later secured by Christian Cage’s Patriarchy.
A recent report from Sean Ross Sapp’s Fightful Select updated fans with positive news. Reportedly, the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Jay White is now healthy, and might soon return to the Jacksonville-based promotion.
The injury was never expected to be long-lasting, and The Switchblade can make his presence felt anytime soon now.
In recent news, Jey Uso shocked fans with a surprise alliance with a former rival.
MJF Shares Why Fans Should Respect AEW World Tag-Team Champions, The Young Bucks
I’m going to do something I rarely do, and I’m going to put them over. They are innovators. The company does not exist without them. There are a lot of people that come into All Elite Wrestling, this company has been around for over five years now, I was there since before day one.
I was at All In before the company even existed. I’m one of the few left that was a genuine day one guy.”
MJF explained how new talents often fail to recognize their contribution as the innovators of the promotion. He further continued how he owes his career to them and wants people to respect the EVPs.
